If you haven't met me before, my name is Jessica Josenhans and I'm a sales representative / REALTOR® at Red Door Realty (Lunenburg). From the South Shores stunning coastlines to historic homes, I never tire of showcasing where I'm from. I've decided to turn this love of place into a career and am now committed to helping others find their forever home along the South Shore. Who was I before?

I grew up here along the South Shore, just outside of Lunenburg. I went to Park View Education Center for high school, and then on to Dalhousie University where I got a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science. If you don't know what that means, let's just say I've dug a lot of holes, done a lot of camping, and looked at a lot of rocks.

Here and Now

As you can see, I'm no longer a geologist. A few years ago my partner Josh and I did a 7 month long world trip where we explored Hawai'i, New Zealand, Australia, and finally Germany before heading home. During our travels we had a lot of time to think about what we felt we needed when we got home, and for me that meant more stability. I wanted to put down roots for the first time since University. I decided, with the help of my mum, to renovate my grandparents old farmhouse for two years. We tackled the exterior, we hung drywall, changed all of the light fixtures, ripped down walls, changed an unused old front entry into a luxurious bathroom, and so much more. I'll write another post on that later! Suffice to say, I loved every second of it and wanted to find a career where I could bring others the same type of joy with their home. And here we are!
